Hussein is a filmmaker from Boston, Massachusetts. He grew up in Fairfax, Virginia and later attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Following graduation, he moved to New York City in 2015, where he split his time between working at Iridium in Times Square and making short films with friends. These films ranged from stop-motion animation to horror and everything in-between.

Since then, he has been working in the Massachusetts film industry as an above-the-line assistant to various actors, directors, and producers on films such as KNIVES OUT, DON’T LOOK UP, and CHALLENGERS.

Hussein has written, directed, and edited two feature films: DOMINOES and US AND OURSELVES, both of which can be found on platforms such as Tubi, Amazon Prime, as well as VOD platforms such as Apple.
