Hussein Hammouda is a writer-director from Boston, Massachusetts. He grew up in Fairfax, Virginia and later attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Following graduation, he moved to New York City in 2015, where he split his time between working at Iridium in Times Square and making short films with friends. These films ranged from stop-motion animation to horror and everything in-between.

Since then, he has been working in the Massachusetts film industry as an above-the-line assistant to various actors, directors, and producers on films such as KNIVES OUT, DON’T LOOK UP, and the upcoming CHALLENGERS.

Hussein has written, directed, and edited two feature films: US AND OURSELVES and DOMINOES, which are currently pending festival runs in 2024.

He has also edited FEAR OF FLYING, a feature film directed by Mark Phinney, and starring Mike Mitchell.
